🔥 About John Britton

For thirty years I travelled the world as director, teacher of performers, and an actor/movement artist. I worked in theatre, somatics, dance, circus, improvisation, clowning, education and things outside any definition! I also worked in community development, youth theatre, corporate training and schools, conservatories & universities.

For a while I was an academic running a Masters degree based in my own training processes.

I developed an approach to personal and professional development which I call Self-With-Others. I had an amazing journey as a theatre artist, but there was a cost. I burned out. My health collapsed.

I’m strong again now, though no longer with any desire to travel or make performance. From my tumble-down house in rural Ireland, I’ll use Self-With-Others to guide you when you yearn for a deeper engagement with life (whatever you do to earn your living).
