I also very often end up helping executives with their personal relationships and families because those stresses and distractions that come up at work, they bleed into our personal lives way too often. I am an accidental multi-million dollar medical staffing corporation founder. I thought I just needed to care about my clients and employees and everything would magically be successful. I nearly lost my company because I wasn’t actively listening. My team that I loved, deeply cared for, and trusted told me that I wasn’t even close to giving them what they really needed. What they needed was for me to learn how to be a true leader. So, I stopped pretending that the role models I had as bosses were what would work for me or my team. I started learning how to be a better human being and a leader that people wanted to follow. We can only brilliantly teach what we have learned. I will always be learning about connection and leadership.

I am also a very intentional consultancy co-founder, mom of girls, older-child foster-adoption advocate, autism services specialist, and award winning international author recognized by the Shriver Foundation and Special Olympics.
